McDonough filled for Hoyas game

Despite the weather, McDonough Arena was at capacity tonight as snowbound Georgetown students and ardent Hoya fans packed in to cheer on 11th-ranked Georgetown against Old Dominion.

With the game held on campus, it was an easy trek for Georgetown students, most of whom have finished exams and were awaiting flights and rides home for the holidays. Old Dominion, which is in Norfolk, had its players travel to Washington for the game Friday afternoon, before the snow started falling.
