6 taken to hospital after downtown crash

Six people were taken to hospitals Friday night after a car crash within blocks of the White House and the National Mall, D.C. police said.
The two car collision occurred at 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW about 8 p.m., police said. They said all of the injuries appeared to be minor.
It was not clear what caused the crash.
