Artist: Give D.C. a vote
A D.C. artist is working on a campaign to put 100 sculptures of a raised hand around the capital to raise awareness of District residents' lack of voting rights.
Creator Peter Krsko said starting next week, the 3-foot, 5-foot and 7-foot Fiberglass hand sculptures will be placed around the city and will stay up for at least a month.
Krsko said the "Give Me A Vote" project was made possible by a grant of approximately $22,000.
