3rd broken water main found in Crystal City
Three water-main breaks in Crystal City likely will snarl the morning commute. Crews are working to repair the breaks, Arlington County officials said, advising commuters to avoid the area.
Jefferson Davis Highway is closed between South 23rd Street and the 2600 block of the highway, one of Arlington's busiest roads. Officials advise southbound commuters to seek alternative routes.
Crews working overnight on repairs found a third break. Officials said last night that two water mains had broken.
Residents are also advised not to drink water that's visibly dirty.
