Billboards removed

Mayor Adrian M. Fenty on Monday announced that the District had removed four billboards that residents in the Mount Vernon had complained about for decades.
The billboards were at 4th Street and P Street NW.
An additional billboard at 3rd and K Streets NE will be removed by Dec. 31.
