D.C. Fire and Emergency Services put out a report earlier this morning that a bird of prey has its foot caught in an escalator at the Benning Road Blue Line Metro station. Officials from the National Zoo and animal control have been called in to assist. We're chasing the story and will have updates as soon as they are available.
