Boil order issued after Pr. George's main break
The Washington Suburban and Sanitary Commission is advising residents of southwest Prince George's County to boil any water that will be used for cooking, drinking or brushing teeth following Saturday's water main break. While the agency knows of no contamination, periods of low water pressure can increase that risk.
The WSSC Web site provides a map of the affected area and a tool for checking if a specific address is affected. The boil order will remain in effect until testing confirms the water's safety.
