A car crashed into the front of a seafood establishment Friday in the Landover Hills area of Prince George's County, officials said.

Mark Brady, a spokesman for the fire and rescue department said a sport-utility vehicle drove into the front of Pops Seafood in the 7400 block of Annapolis Road. The door and windows were damaged but nobody was injured, Brady said.

The head of MD State Hwy Administration said the driver of the SUV was going under the speed limit, had one hand at the 9'oclock position and one hand at the 3'oclock position. He had just checked his rear and side mirrors and was paying maximum attention to his driving. Apparently, shortly before crashing a "distracted pedestrian" wearing an ipod walked out in the middle of the road, not at a marked intersection where there was a crosswalk. She was following the advice of Michelle Obama to get out and exercise more.
