Council aide sues Montgomery for $5 million

An aide to Montgomery County Council member Duchy Trachtenberg (D-At Large) is suing the county saying the ethics commission violated her rights when it investigated her involvement in the passage of a law prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity, The Examiner reports.
Dana Beyer is currently on voluntary unpaid leave from Trachtenberg's office.
