Crash on New York Ave. causes backups

A crash on New York Avenue NE near Route 50 on Tuesday night caused one or more injuries and long traffic backups, authorities said.
An automobile apparently hit a dividing wall, D.C. police reported.
The incident was reported on the eastern edge of the city, near near the intersection of New York Avenue, Route 50 and South Dakota Avenue.
