1 killed, 2 injured in Laurel crash
A Bowie man was killed and two others seriously injured in a crash in the Laurel area early Thursday, police said.
The crash occurred just before 2 a.m. at Laurel Bowie and Muirkirk roads in the Laurel area, police said.
Officer Evan Baxter, a Prince George's County police spokesman, said three men were traveling north on Laurel Bowie Road when their SUV swerved into a guardrail and rolled over. All three men were ejected, and the driver, 24-year-old David Powell, was struck by the still-rolling vehicle, Baxter said. He was killed, Baxter said.
