2 police cruisers wrecked in Temple Hills
Two parked Prince George's County police cruisers were wrecked Saturday when they were struck by a car at the scene of an earlier crash, county police said.
Police said the cruisers were struck about 2 a.m. Saturday at Branch Avenue and Linda Lane in the Temple Hills area.
The cruisers were struck several minutes after the two officers in them got out to help in connection with the earlier, routine crash, police said. The cruisers' red and blue lights were flashing, police said.
Police said a Maryland man was arrested after the cruisers were struck and charged with driving under the influence.
