Burglar hits Frederick sports center
Police in Frederick say they are investigating a burglary at an indoor sports center that resulted in thousands of dollars worth of losses and damage.
Police say the perpetrators entered the 65,000-square-foot building early Wednesday morning.
They say doors and vending machines were damaged and the perpetrators stole cash, equipment and electronics.
The Frederick Indoor Sports Center houses two full-sized turf fields, a cafe and lounge and a sports retail shop.
