Derwood strip mall evacuated
Montgomery County fire officials say several stores at a Derwood strip mall have been evacuated following reports of a gas-like odor.
Fire officials say crews responded Monday to the strip mall on Crabbs Branch Way and have not found any gas leaks. Officials say they are continuing to search for the cause of the odor.
Several people were evaluated at the scene but did not require any additional care.
