Fatal stabbing in Prince George's

By Carol Morello

Prince George’s County police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man whose body was discovered early Sunday morning in District Heights.

Police said they were called shortly after 4 a.m. to what was described as a "cutting" in the 7500 block of Marion Street. The man, whose name and age had not been released Sunday afternoon, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police later said the victim had been stabbed in another location, near the intersection of Silver Hill and Suitland roads in Suitland, about three miles away from where he was discovered.

Police are seeking a light blue or silver blue, late model Chevy Malibu that was seen fleeing the crime scene with a male and a female inside. Police said the vehicle might have had an older version of Maryland license plates on it.

Geez. What's with all the fatal stabbings lately? I guess they need stricter laws on buying knives and knife possession. Maybe even ban them. The NCA (National Cutlery Association) won't be happy though.

There needs to be background checks for people to buy knives. Knife owners need to be licensed.

Seriously, we need to enact "knife control" laws before more innocent people kill!!! Remember, people don't kill people, knives kill people!!!!
