Female bank robbery suspect in custody
Fairfax County police have taken a woman into custody who fits the description of a serial bank robber, ABC 7 is reporting.
The woman was apprehended shortly before noon Tuesday outside a bank in Chantilly where a robbery had occurred. Police had several banks under surveillance because of a recent string of bank robberies.
Police also arrested a man in a car who was seen trying to leave the area after the robbery.
