Fire damages 2 Pr. George's buildings

By Mike McPhate

A three-alarm fire this afternoon in the Suitland area of Prince George's County has severely damaged two apartment buildings on Maxwell Drive and burned one firefighter. No one else was reported hurt, but Prince George's fire spokesman Mark Brady said 15 apartments will be uninhabitable, with an unknown number of people displaced on Christmas Eve. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
