Four charged in scalding attack

Charles County police have arrested four people who poured scalding water over a man they believed had made unwanted advances toward a woman, Crime Scene reports.

The man, who has not been named, was left with second- and third-degree burns over his back and genitals.

The victim, 44, had spent the day drinking with one of the people charged in his attack, Nicole Robinson, 35. Robinson, her son Terry Phillips, 18, his girlfriend Ka Daffia Fredia Muir, 19, and Robinson's godson Matthew Jones, 18, all have been charged with first-degree assault.
