Hearing set for Cavs' West gun charge

By Washington Post editors

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West has a plea hearing scheduled in connection with his 2009 arrest for speeding on a motorcycle and carrying weapons.

West had been scheduled for a trial next week, but now Maryland court records show he has a plea hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning.

His attorney and a spokesman for the prosecutor, Prince George's County State's Attorney Glenn Ivey, did not immediately return requests for comment. The plea hearing was first reported by WTOP-FM.

Authorities say the basketball player was carrying two loaded handguns, a loaded shotgun and an 8 1/2-inch Bowie knife while speeding on his motorcycle on the Capital Beltway in Prince George's County in September.

It's illegal in Maryland to carry concealed weapons and to transport loaded handguns.

You would think after having a kid (LeBron) out of wedlock and at a very young age his ghetto momma would have some self respect but sleeping with your son team mates screaaammmm.

SHE IS STILL A HOOD RAT.... Just with a little extra money.
