Prince George's hostage situation ends
UPDATE:
A man who was holding a woman hostage in Prince George's County shot himself in the head Wednesday morning, and was rushed to Prince George's County Hospital in critical condition, Crime Scene reports.
The man, described only as 37 years old, had barricaded himself and a woman in a home in the 8600 block of Richboro Road about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Police negotiators were speaking to the man throughout the night, and at 7 a.m. he shot himself once in the head, said Major Andy Ellis said. The woman was unharmed.

Hostage situation in Prince George's
Prince George's County police were on the scene early Wednesday of a hostage situation in a home in the Forestville area, where a man who said he had a gun was reportedly holding a woman captive, officials said.
Police were called to the 8600 block of Richboro Road about 10 p.m. Tuesday for the report of a reported domestic disturbance, said Cpl. Henry Tippett, a police spokesman.
Three women were inside the house when the incident began, but two of them were able to escape, Tippett said. No injuries were reported.
A man who said he was inside the home called media outlets and said he was holding a woman hostage.
