Indictment in fatal shooting of Md. trooper
A Prince George's County grand jury Thursday indicted a Seat Pleasant man on charges that he participated in fatal shooting of an off-duty Maryland state trooper in June outside a Forestville restaurant, Crime Scene reports.
The grand jury indicted Anthony A. Milton, 28, on charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and three handgun violations, State's Attorney Glenn F. Ivey announced. Milton is charged in connection with the June 11 murder of Trooper Wesley Brown, 24.
Brown was fatally shot outside an Applebee's restaurant where he was moonlighting as a security guard.
