Man found dead in Landover
A 46-year-old man was found dead inside a Landover area home early Wednesday, and Prince George’s County police are investigating the case as a homicide.
Patrol officers were called to the 1300 block of Eli Place to check on the report of an unconcious man in the house about 4:40 a.m., police said. Officers found George Eugene Borden, who had no permanent address, dead on the floor inside the home with trauma to his body, police said.
Authorities declined to say what kind of trauma Borden suffered and are awaiting an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Police are searching for a motive in the case.
