Man found dead in Laurel
A man was found shot dead early Saturday morning in a vehicle in Laurel, Prince George’s police said.
Officers were sent to the 8800 block of Hawthorn Lane shortly before 3 a.m. after someone reported the sound of gun shots, a police spokesman, Officer Evan Baxter, said. In a vehicle, officers found a man with apparent gun shot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Baxter said.
The identity of the man was not immediately available, Baxter said.
