Man killed in hit-and-run in SW D.C.
D.C. police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that took the life of a man in Southwest Washington early Monday morning, Crime Scene reports.
Police were called to the 2900 block of South Capitol St. SW at about 12:45 a.m. They found a man lying in the road.
The man was a victim of a hit-and-run, a D.C. police spokeswoman said, and based on evidence at the scene may have been hit by a Mercedes-Benz.
The victim's name and age were not immediately available, police said.
