Man killed overnight in Bowie

By By Debbi Wilgoren

A man was shot to death at around midnight Tuesday in a home in Bowie, Prince George's County police said.

Police were called to the home in the unit block of Queen Anne Bridge Road just after midnight, said Cpl. Clinton Copeland, a county police spokesman.

The man, whose name was not released pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police ruled the death a homicide, but have not identified any suspects, Copeland said.

FYI: Queen Ann Bridge Road is NOT with in the city limits of Bowie.
Just because the post office assigned the zipcode 20716 does not mean ithe location is in the City of Bowie.
