Man shot at Prince George's pharmacy
A 42-year-old man was shot at the Kay Cee pharmacy in District Heights at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Prince George's police.
He was taken to a local hospital.
We are checking into reports that the shooting stemmed from a robbery at the store, in the 6100 block of Old Silver Hill Road.
Initial reports were that the victim worked at the pharmacy, but an employee who answered the phone said that was not the case. The employee declined to offer other details.
We'll bring you more information as it's available.
