Man shot in SW D.C.
A man was shot and wounded Sunday evening in the neighborhood where four people were fatally shot last week, D.C. police said.
However, police said there was no indication of any connection between the two incidents.
In the Sunday shooting, a man who appeared to be about 19 or 20 was shot in the right leg about 7 p.m. in the 100 block of Atlantic Street SW. The wound was not believed to be life-threatening.
The location is about two blocks from the site of the March 30 shooting in the 4000 block of South Capitol Street.
