Md. officials seek gasoline vandal
Police and fire officials in Frederick say they are looking for someone who splashed about two gallons of gasoline on the door of an apartment and in the hallway of the apartment building.
Assistant State Fire Marshal Marc McNeal says residents of 12 apartments were briefly displaced Wednesday evening while authorities removed the gasoline-soaked carpet and ventilated the building on Heather Ridge Drive.
McNeal estimated the damage at $1,500.
