Off-duty officer stabbed in Prince George's

By Martin Weil

An off-duty Prince George's County police officer was stabbed Saturday while trying to arrest a man at a restaurant, county police said.

They said the incident occurred while the officer was working "secondary employment" in uniform at a restaurant in the 2200 block of University Boulevard about 12:45 a.m. The officer was not named.

Police said he saw a man push a security guard at the restaurant who was trying to escort the man out after a dispute with another customer.

After efforts were made to get the man to comply, the officer tried to arrest the man. As he was trying to handcuff the man, the officer was stabbed in the abdomen with a large folding knife.

Police said Milton Benitez Salvador, 34, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted murder, and attempted assault of a law enforcement officer.

The officer was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries, police said.

Milton Benitez Salvador. 2200 block of University Boulevard in Langley Park Need we say more?

Illegals have overrun that area and turned it into a toilet.

Doesn't surprise me. University Boulevard in Langley Park is little Mexico. You're going to find a lot of illegal, excuse that's not PC, undocumented immigrants. I'm sure we will find that Mr Salvador is one of these. He was probably afraid of the polie finding about his immigration status.
