One dead in Burtonsville crash

Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal one-car crash early Saturday in Burtonsville.
Officials say a car driven by Rahul Sharma, 25, of Clarksville was traveling eastbound on Dustin Road just after 2 a.m. when it left the road and struck a tree. A passenger in the car, Jayant Prasad Singh, 25, of Burtonsville, died at the scene.
Sharma was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
