Pedestrian injured near White House

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured Sunday night near the White House an National Mall, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. at 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, according to the D.C. fire and emergency medical services department.
