Woman found fatally shot in Landover
UPDATED
A woman was apparently fatally shot Wednesday morning in the Landover area of Prince George's County, authorities said.
Officers were called to the 2500 block of Markham Lane about 8:30 a.m. for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a woman, said Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, a county police spokesman.
Police initially said they were called to Grayridge Lane but that location was revised Wednesday afternoon.

Police investigating homicide in Landover

Police are on the scene of an apparent homicide in the Landover area of Prince George's County, authorities said.
Officers were called to the 7400 block of Grayridge Lane about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday for the report of a shooting, said police spokesman Evan Baxter. He said homicide detectives were later called to the scene, though he could not provide any information on the victim.
