Police seek hit-and-run driver in fatality
A pedestrian was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run incident in the Adelphi area of Prince George's County, police said.
The incident occurred about 9:35 p.m. in the 1700 block of Metzerott Road, when the man was hit by a car that drove away. He then was struck a second time as he lay in the road, police said. They said the second car stopped.
The victim was described as about 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches, about 120 pounds. He wore a gray jacket, white and blue jeans with red Nike, Jordan tennis shoes.
Police asked anyone with information to call the collision unit at 301- 731-4422.
