Police seek possible witness to shooting
Washington-area police are searching for a man believed to be a witness to the shooting death of a college student in Texas.
Investigators want to talk with Khiry McCullum who they believe was at an off-campus party April 17 near Texas Southern University in Houston. A fight broke out, and gunman fired numerous times into a crowd at the party. Eighteen-year-old Joshua McMackle of Front Royal, Va., died.
Houston police believe McCullum is back in the D.C. area. He drives a 2005 blue-green Dodge Magnum with Maryland license plates: 2EDH33.
Police call McCullum a person of interest and say no charges have been filed in the case.
Houston police ask that anyone who has seen McCullum or his car call them at (713) 308-3600.
