Pr. Geo's officer charged with assault
An off-duty Prince George's County police officer was arrested over the weekend after allegedly threatening a tow truck driver with a gun, Fox 5 reports.
Nathaniel Daniels III, 34, was charged with first and second degree assault.
Police said they responded to a report of a fight about 1 a.m. at Bill's Lounge in Odenton. When they arrived they were told a man armed with a handgun was threatening a tow truck driver.
Police said they located Daniels, who notified them that he was an off-duty Prince George's County police officer.
Daniels was disarmed, placed into handcuffs and arrested.

Why was a tow truck there? Why did the officer produce a weapon? Those details would be helpful.
As the article reads currently, it sounds like the officer randomly pulled his weapon on an innocent and unsuspecting tow truck driver.
