Officials: Man impersonated dead dad
Federal prosecutors say a Northern Virginia man collected about $336,000 in fraudulent retirement benefits from the federal government by pretending to be his late father.
Court documents filed this week say Ralph Sincavage impersonated his father on the phone and in writing over nearly 17 years to collect his retirement benefits.
Sincavage's father, Joseph Sincavage, was receiving retirement benefits from government truck driver work when he died in 1992.
The payments were halted in 1993 after federal employees noted his death in Social Security databases, but restored after Ralph Sincavage made a phone call pretending to be his father asserting that he was alive, according to court filings.
The documents also say he forged his father's signature on government paperwork on three occasions.

ged0386 there are no comments of that kind, because this article isn't about welfare fraud. This isn't even in the same universe, let alone the same ball park. Also, how do you determine the man's race from the article since it didn't mention race?

We all know anybody name RALPH IS WHITE, unless its Ralph Tresvant!!! Stealing 336k from the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is worse then welfare fraud, because nobody on welfare will EVER get $336k in assistance! This mans father is probably rolling over in his urn with the lies and fraud his son committed!

Where are all the comments about welfare cheats and lazy uneducated guys looking for a handout at taxpayers expense? Oh, I think he is white. Thats explains it. White bloggers dont stereotype themselves. They just move on to the next article about a black or hispanic guy. Then they comment.
