Remains found near where student disappeared

Skeletal remains were found this morning in Albermarle County and police investigators are on the scene.

Officials have not yet released details. But authorities and volunteers conducted multiple searches in the area after the Oct. 17 disappearance of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington. Harrington, 20, went missing outside a Metallica Concert at the University of Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena in nearby Charlottesville.
