Suspect identified in Va. beating

A man accused of making racist comments about employees at a Dulles Town Center store and then assaulting a fellow customer has been identified, Loudoun County sheriff's officials say.

Sheriff's officials released a picture of the man captured from the surveillance camera of the Sears store. Officials say the suspect beat another customer after the two began arguing while in line at Sears on Sunday afternoon. The suspect is accused of making a racial comment regarding customer service at the store.

Loudoun County Sheriff's officials released a picture of the man captured from the surveillance camera of a Sears store. Officials say the suspect beat another customer after the two began arguing while in line at Sears on Sunday afternoon. The suspect in the beating made a racial comment regarding customer service at the store, and another customer took offense, according to officials.

~~The man who turned himself in and his lawyer are to meet with Loudoun officials to discuss the incident.~~

Oh boy...this should be interesting. By not providing a photo WaPo will now be accused of "protecting" guy either because he is or isn't a minority.
Conspiracy theorists, the line forms to the right...

what is the point of reporting that the Sheriff's officials released a picture, if you don't include said picture in your story?

obviously they released the photo for a reason.

Must be a white guy, since this story made the news so fast. Meanwhile, a black mob beats a white guy and videotapes it at L'Enfant Plaza Metro on Sunday and the Post still hasn't picked up on that one...

I don't see it as WaPo protecting any particular race. I see it as WaPo disserving the reader by not providing important details. We live in a highly diverse area, and you can't assume that any incident is white/black. It could involve Hispanics or Muslims just as well.

Maybe you have forgotten, ghettos were in europe, they were filled with jews. These "thugs" are put in projects, a science project to see if we put you in these sub-standard living conditions, how well will you fare. What will you do to each other. Unless you are admitting the real reason, you use the word ghettos because you know the lost tribe settled in west africa, and was brought to new egypt (peep your $1 bill)by the new pharoah. There will never be peace until the lost tribes come home. The real hebrews were always colored, like moses, abraham, and jesus..

I already saw this story last night on the local tv news. The guy looks like a typical angry ahole who ruins stuff for everyone else. And no one seems to be comprehending in these comments that he yelled racial slurs at the worker, which is totally unnecessary enough, but he also beat the cr*p out of another customer who came to the clerk's defense. The dude had to go to a hospital, and what did the big "brave" guy do? He left the store. Just looking at this POS I could totally see him doing this. Everyone needs to calm the F down and realize that the world doesn't owe you sh*t and go home if you need to throw a temper tantrum.

The suspect is a fat POS who could of used a good gut punch followed by a good knee to the face followed up with a good butt whooping. I hope he pays dearly for for his actions. You reap what you sow.
