Teen charged with murder, rape of teacher
Prince George's County prosecutors Wednesday charged a teenage boy with first-degree murder and first degree rape in the beating death of his teacher at a state juvenile detention facility.
The teen, who was 13 at the time of the incident, is accused of beating Hannah Wheeling to death Feb. 18. Wheeling, 65, was a general studies teacher at the Cheltenham Youth Facility.
