Teen fatally shot in Hyattsville park
A teenager was fatally shot Thursday evening in a Hyattsville area park and police were reportedly searching for three suspects, Prince George’s County police said.
Officers were called to the 2600 Nicholson Street, near the Anacostia Tributary Trail, and just before 7 p.m. found a 16-year-old male wounded, said Cpl. Clinton Copeland, a county police spokesman. The victim was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Maryland National Capital Park Police and county police are investigating the incident but released no details about the circumstances of the shooting.

Good to see Maryland's tough gun laws working so well.

Drug deal gone bad or drug dispute? Or he didn't take off his expensive sneakers fast enough. Or, gasp, horror, he DISRESPECTED someone. That is the WORST thing you can do.

This is very sad. Another senseless killing that is likely over something stupid and trivial.
I have yet to understand how shooting an unarmed person makes someone tough...
