Woman shot in Manassas
A 19-year-old woman was shot in the leg Monday in Manassas, Prince William County Police said.
The victim, of Fairfax, was in the 11100 block of Beamer Way when a man and a woman not known to her pulled up nearby in a black SUV, police said. The pair were arguing when the woman exited the vehicle and a shot was fired, striking the victim. The woman then reentered the vehicle and the pair drove away, police said.
Police are investigating the incident.
