Yeardley Love scholarship, field funded
A Maryland prep school, in collaboration with the One Love Foundation, has raised $1 million to endow a scholarship and build a turf field at the school in honor of Yeardley Love, the former University of Virginia lacrosse player who was slain by her ex-boyfriend last year, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Love attended Notre Dame Preparatory School in Baltimore, where the Yeardley Reynolds Love Field will be built and where a scholarship will be given every four years so that a student in need can attend.
George Huguely V, who played lacrosse at U-Va., has been charged with murder in her death.

I'm pleased to hear that people are going to such lengths to make sure that Yeardley will not be forgotten and that the phrase "One Love" will have new meaning.
Another more modest memoriam has been made by the Lacock Lacrosse Club in the form of a small lacrosse tournament ( http://lacrosselacock.bravehost.com/ ) played in memory of the deceased Virginia lacrosse alumni Yeardley Love and Will Barrow. Some may remember that Will committed suicide about two years ago.

Here is a suggestion for fund raising: put George Huguely into general population and charge the other inmates $1 per pop to take turns on him.
