D.C. Council's Jack Evans engaged
D.C. Council member Jack Evans (D-Ward 2) announced last week that he will run for council chairman.
But Evans, the longest continuous serving member of the council, is staying tight-lipped about his engagement to interior designer Michele Seiver, the D.C. Wire reports. They have been dating for about three years, and each has three children. Evans, 56, is a widower; Seiver, 52, is divorced.
Evans declined to comment, but the couple has been seen at events around town. The Post's Reliable Source spotted them last year at the Corcoran Ball and revealed that the two were quietly dating.
