Is your ride getting any smoother?

Officials with the D.C. Department of Transportation announced they have filled 7,690 potholes during a month-long Potholepalooza effort, the Associated Press reports.

Using three "pothole killer" trucks, the department's 10 crews filled an average of 295 potholes a day. Since Jan. 1, a record number -- 15,585 -- of potholes have been repaired. During last year's Potholepalooza, crews filled 6,084 potholes.
