5 cars collide near D.C.-Pr. George's line
Five cars collided Thursday evening, injuring several people on Route 50 near the District's border with Prince George's county, authorities said.
At least five people suffered injuries that were not believed to be life threatening in the incident near Route 50, I-295 and Eastern Avenue about 6:45 p.m., said Pete Piringer, a D.C. Fire department spokesman.
No information about the cause of the crash was immediately available.
