2 pedestrians hit in the District

Two pedestrians were struck Thursday morning in separate accidents in the District, D.C. Fire and EMS report.
A pedestrian was struck around 6:30 a.m. at Louisiana Avenue and D Street NW. A second pedestrian was hit about two hours later at Rhode Island Avenue and 22nd Street NE.

They should have been paying attention before venturing out into traffic. Instead, I suspect they were on a cell and weren't minding the store.
