200 in D.C. without water
About 200 District residents were without water Thursday night, as emergency workers repaired a broken water main, according to the D.C. Water and Sewer Authority.
The pipe had been installed a day earlier on P St. NW. between 17th and 18th Streets. The water was turned off at 10:30 p.m., after residents were notified, and was expected to be shut off for about four hours, said Pamela Mooring, spokeswoman for D.C. Water and Sewer Authority.
