5th dog park opening in D.C.
Officials are opening a new dog park in the northwest part of the city.
The Upshur Dog Park on Arkansas Avenue officially opens on Saturday. The 10,000 square foot dog park is the fifth to be opened and maintained by the D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation since 2007.
Officials are planning a “leash cutting” ceremony, and the Big Bad Woof, a pet supply store, will donate dog treats for the event.
One more dog park in the northeast part of the city also currently in the works.

Are hilly, pelosi or napolitano allowed there, or must they bring dogs?

How enlightening..Now maybe concerned citizens can visit the city's dog pound and volunteer to walk THOSE dogs at the various dog parks in the city...
Or still better give some of their money towards spaying animals so the pounds won't be so over crowded with ABANDONED & UNWANTED dogs....Sound like a plan?????
