Male shot in Northeast D.C.
Update, 8:50 p.m.:
The man who was shot in Northeast Washington Wednesday night was pronounced dead shortly after the 7:22 p.m. shooting, D.C. police spokesman Officer Paul Metcalf said.
Earlier:
A male was shot and critically wounded Wednesday night in Northeast Washington, D.C. police said.
Officers were called for a shooting in the 4200 block of Gault Place NE about 7:22 p.m., said Officer Paul Metcalf, a police spokesman. Police think the victim is an adult male who was found unconscious and not breathing at the scene, Metcalf said.
No further details were available.
