Bicyclist collides with van in D.C.
A bicyclist collided with a mini-van Wednesday afternoon in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Northwest Washington, authorities said.
The incident happened at 14th and Belmont streets about 4 p.m., said Officer Paul Metcalf, a D.C. police spokesman. The man on the bicycle was conscious at scene when officers arrived, Metcalf said.
He was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately available.
